How to: AI Question

AI block functions as an interactive chat between AI and testers, asking questions based on your defined scenario:

— for example, when conducting interview-style questions to explore specific topics or responses in depth;

— or gathering detailed feedback about a new product feature;

— or presenting one or more images and asking questions about them;

— or obtaining more specific information from respondents;

— or confirming that responses are complete and meaningful, ensuring all requested information has been provided.

To enable AI questions on any paid plan, simply contact us through the support chat on the website.

After we grant access, the AI block functions like any other block—you can add it to your tests using the blue plus icon. Within the block, you can write questions for testers and provide instructions to guide the AI's conversation flow.

A key advantage of the AI block is that it analyzes the entire test context. The AI considers all previous responses, scale selections, and other actions from the respondent. You can incorporate question logic into the instructions based on this data—for instance, asking follow-up questions when a respondent completes a task faster than a specified time.

The question can be made optional through the block settings. From the testers’ perspective, it's straightforward: they'll see standard open-ended questions that they can answer via text or voice (text-to-speech).

The report includes all user responses—both to the main question and AI follow-up questions. You can add tags to each response for easy analysis and filter information using these tags. When you export the data, all tags will be included in the export file along with the complete AI-respondent conversation.
